Light Gray Warehouse Floor
The workhorse industrial specification — light, seamless and built around the joints.

What you're looking at
A light gray high-build epoxy across a large industrial span, finished glossy so the space stays bright under high-bay lighting. The color choice is functional rather than aesthetic: lighter floors bounce light, which improves visibility around moving equipment and reduces what you spend keeping a building of this size lit.
The part that decides how long a floor like this survives is not visible in a photograph. Control joints have to be filled with semi-rigid filler so hard-wheeled traffic rolls across them instead of impacting an open edge — joint spalling is where nearly all warehouse floor failure starts, and it spreads along the joint fast once a chip begins.
How the system is built
- 1Slab assessed for moisture, joints and existing damage first
- 2Control joints filled flush with semi-rigid filler
- 3Diamond grinding or shot blasting to the required profile
- 4High-build epoxy, with safety striping and aisle marking as needed
Where it suits
- Warehouses and distribution
- Manufacturing floors
- Forklift and pallet-jack traffic
- Aircraft hangars

Before you choose this finish
Because a hard wheel crossing an open control joint impacts the corner directly rather than rolling over it, and once a chip starts it spreads along the joint quickly. Semi-rigid filler fills the joint flush so the wheel rolls across, while still allowing the slab to move. On an industrial floor it is usually the highest-value thing we do.
